Does "Check Engine" light ever go out without having to be reset?

When I first got mine (first 3 weeks) It was throughing check light, (codes for vac leak), and on the last one I was on a trip, and after about the third or fourth start-up it was gone. In fact its been clean since.

Mine was on Sunday, off Monday --hmmm.

Absolutely, mine has done it twice. The dealer said if it goes out by itself, it's probably nothing to worry about. ?? Hmmm...
