Does anyone have the solar sunroof option? How well does it work?

I'm in Salt Lake City, but even in March, with temps in 50's, the solar intrusion can heat up the inside of the car. With the solar sunroof, the fan keeps the air circulating, so the inside stays cool.
I expect it to be great during the summer.

Sure could do with it now though as I'm holidaying down in Australia and the black volvo v70R I've borrowed from my sister gets really hot in 100+ heat ! Oh well, hopefully the car survived the earthquake !

Mine has th esolar sunroof and gets parked on 90+ degrees constantly. The car remains cooler than my '00 S4 parked next to it with the moonroof tilted (and the allroad's closed. The fans are on all the time (during daytime) down here, and as soon as you turn the engine off, they kick-in to blow the cold air form the A/C that is still within the vents. Roll-up shades are a complete success, specially with children (no damn Poohs on the windows!).
I highly recommended if you live in a climate that will use it, even if it is only during summer.
