I have an Allroad2001, and have been quite
satisfied with it+GIAC.
One of the feature, I like, is mirror inclination@of passengers side door mirror, when gear is positioned at reverse direction.
,But yesterday I noticed it doesn't move that way any more. I checked with manual, but can't find any SW to enable, or disable the feature.
Is it just a trouble, or have I overlooked the SW?

Make sure the mirror adjustor **** is postitioned to the right side mirror adjustor spot. Leave it there and hit reverse - it should work. If the **** is in the middle position, the reverse mirror will not operate. That is how it works on my '02.

You can also rotate the switch to the left to drop the drivers mirror.

My '02 doesn't do that, what year is your allroad? You sure you're not just sitting up in the seat?.......hehe

Yes, my '03 does this. Saw a friend w/an '01 A6 do it and thought it was the coolest thing.

It wobbled back-and-forth. After repositioning it approximately where it should be and turning the mirror switch off and back on again with the ignition switch ON, it resumed proper function (fortunately).

My '02 does not do this...I feel the first icy touch of creeping obsolescence.
