Dynamic Headlight dimmer warning light just came on??

yes, could be related to brake switch?
because in my case it came on after the three warning light symptom (height warning, stability system, and abs) that has been attributed here to a brake switch failure. In my case all lights went off when the car was shut off and restarted, but then returned when I next used the brakes. Cold weather, -15, may be a factor? A month later now and the symptoms haven't reappeared.

I have the same issue on our '01...
Haven't figured out the problem yet, but I have a front driver side air bag that needs to be replaced as well. Maybe related? From what I could find searching here, my first guess is going to be a ride height sensor.

I was messing with the **** all day to set the clock back as well, seems ...
coincidental that it would then get all pissy about the headlights, the lights weren't on at the time either.

You know it finally dawned on me, that I have seen pictures of S4 front suspensions with the leveler
adjuster we have on our front control arms. They must be using the levelers for headlight adjustments which would kind of explain your problem with locking them down on your allroad.(if you haven't figured it out already) : )

I have the warning, but I do not know if they are related...
I purchased the car in the last week with the warning light on. I have no idea if the warning started when the air bag issues did. The warning comes on when you start the car and stays on, headlights on or off, no difference.
