Default ECU Programming for 05 2.7T

I've just been told by my Audi Tuning rep that there is no off the shelf code for the 05 2.7T. Supposedly the code changed in 04 or 05 and is not the same as the 03 and earlier models. Has anyone here chipped their 05? If so, can you please give me some input on the tuner?

Default Call togoAPR .com and give them your ecu#

also call to awe-tuning.com and do the same. This is the source of APR and of GIAC software.

Default Tell your toonah to do some more work - i.e. call their distributore like paulroad suggests.

But they should do the legwork for you if they want the sale.

My info came from the APR rep here is LA. We checked with Garret at GIAC and also does not have anything for the newer code. I've found a guy that will do a custom tune, but it will run at least $2500 just for R&D.

To be honest, I don't know. Where can I find it?

Default you need to hook a VAG to your OBD port..

it will show the number during a scan. This is how the tuner finds out as well becaus no one want to open up their ECU and become subject to the warranty police.

Give Jeff Moss a call at Torque-Factory,

310-466-4296. He set up my 04 with the GIAC flash and tip chip. Great guy and VERY knowledgeable about these engines.
