Default Electrical failure

Help! I had a failure of my headlights, low beam. Hi beams work, only if I hold the lever back, fog lights, turn signals and blower motor. The blower I believe to be the resistor. So far all I've done is check the fuses and common grounds...help!

In the 100/200/v8 cars, the unrelayed headlights would burn out the undersized wiring in the headlight switch. Maybe something like this happened? Or maybe a relay? Are there headlight relays on newer Audis?

The ignition switch was the problem.
