Euro specs on the door...worked well for my prior tire, better than the US spec in fact but my new tires (only on the road with them for a couple of days) still seem a little squirmy...tire guy says that is normal for new ones and maybe I haven't had this grippy a tire before but they seem a little strange...just wondered what you all are experiencing. TIA

Specs on tire pressure on the door plate ONLY apply to the OEM tire, and only on their road course. The spec is a compromise, of handling, comfort, gas mileage and load carring. I run mine at 44 usually. And I must say I'm always amused by people who complain about the allroads handling. I have my car set up to ride height 1+.5 Asx's at 44 PSI and the Hsport bars on hard. And I routinely outrun BMW's MB's and others on the twisties around here. My favrite is to get some BMW punk who rides my tail, then lure him into a decreasing radius turn on an off ramp and watch them lose it, as they try to stay on my bumper. Yeah it's boring near the big cities too.

I was thinking of upping the psi but wanted a 2nd, 3rd etc opinion....I'm a "verbal" thinker if you folks haven't figured that out by now
Up she goes then...my husband just bought a new compressor anyway so time to "try 'er out"...even without H-sports I routinely have some smart a$$, usually out here in a souped up Civic, think they will stay with me on the curve and they can't...haha to them

maximum cornering will be when the largest amount of rubber is in contact with the pavement. Street tires roll over so much that they need a lot of air to maintain their contact patches (and not come off the rims).
