My '01 AR w/45K just off AOA warranty and I'm looking at extended warranty options.
Paulroad has recommended Auto Warranty Broker.
Here is what they are offering for the "Exclusionary" coverage which they claim: "is the best coverage available! With our Mercury Platinum "bumper-to-bumper" plan, you can have true "peace of mind".
My quote price for 4 year/100K Zero deductable:$3000.
What do you guys think?
Here's the link to the coverage:

The one question I had was, under excluded items they list "suspension springs". What does this mean given our airbag suspension?
Has anyone ever worked with or know of Murcury Insurance?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated!<ul><li><a href="http://www.autowarrantybroker.com/products1/Mercury%20platinum_details.asp">http://www.autowarrantybroker.com/products1/Mercury%20platinum_details.asp</a</li></ul>

AWB is familiar with the Allroad, it is a question you must ask them and the insurance company that is writing the policy. The policy that you are quoting is from a different company than what I originally bought.

How ironic, I was going to post a question regarding this company as well. I am looking at an '01 with 50 miles and 4 weeks under the original warranty that I want to extend. I was thinking about CPOing the car but that was just for 2yrs/100K miles whereas Mercury Insurance is offering 4yrs/100K for about the same price.
I received a quote for the same insurance from www.penfed.org for $2650 but that was with an existing warranty available; albeit for a short time
. Maybe it works out cheaper from them for you as well.

I am in the middle of repairs under my AWB "Premier Plus" warranty. They disallowed a repair claim of my GPS controls because "GPS units" are not covered. Every other switch in the vehicle is covered but not the GPS control ****? Makes no sense to me, but it saved them a couple hundred bucks.
FYI
My AWB warranty was $2008 for 4 more years and a total of 100K miles with a $25 deductible on a '01 with 45K
