Had picked up a used Sym II from an '04 last fall and had TeddyBGame build me a harness. Finally got around to installing it today. It's nice to get rid of the free standing XM module hanging off the side of the console and now have XM built in. VAG'd to de-bose as I'd done before. Minor issues to work out, but at least it's done.
Pick up the RS6 fender liners tomorrow.

Can I get them out or will I need to hook power up to the head unit? Took my 5 year old asking to hear one of her CD's for me to realize I'd been stupid.

No sound on XM. Everything else works fine and I get XM signals. The custom harness was built to accomodate an Icelink and I may need one in-line to complete the circuit. Shoud be resolved this am.

there's prolly someone w/ an external jack, but may be just easier to pull, plug in and remove cds, or just leave em in the unit, tis only a few $ for the cds, how much ur time worth?

Yesterday I got a large padded envelope from Audi headquarters (in MI). They sent me back the CD I left inside unit they exchanged. You've got to love that kind of dedication. Sound familiar Ted? I thought you were kidding about there being a CD in my head unit.
