First 911 Turbo Drive

Swung by my Audi dealer today and they had a new 911 turbo demo car there. Wahoo! Flicked me the keys and off.
It was a grey colored with tiptronic. Very, very fast and a great engine sound, but I had the same sort of emotions as the RS4. I bit too refined. My 993 felt loose and instantly powerful at low speeds. This car is so good you would have to be doing insane speeds to get the same feeling.
I haven't driven a GT3 but I think that would be more enjoyable as all the power is available instantly and it must feel more raw than the turbo. The GT2 will just be nuts.
Anyway, stoked to have had a drive in a 911 turbo. I don't think I would retain my licence for long if it was a daily drive. The sensation of flooring it in second is too intoxicating!

"The sensation of flooring it in 2nd ..." I have enough trouble in my allroad ... :-)
Rookie question (allroad's my first Audi). But giving some semblance of realism to my fantasies, what would you rather DRIVE, a Boxster or TT w/quattro? (Your choice of options.)

What fun! ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I drove a 911 turbo about 20 years ago (ok, I'm dating myself). Privatly owned, guy lost a marble and let me drive it over lunch. The turbo kick in the lower back is like nothing else I've ever felt...
I must have handled it ok, as the the guy showed up with a Ferrari 308 about 3 weeks later... and let me drive it on the same "road test" (through town to a mountain pass highway, up that for about 5 miles and back. about 35 miles total).
Both were excellent cars, "raw" in thier own way and felt totally different, but amazingly, almost unbelievably, fast.
The crime is I can't even remember the guy's name.
He owned a company in the same building where I worked at the time... met him in the parking garage over my (very loud) built-out Fiat X1/9. He wanted to drive it if you can imagine...
