Default follow up on my flashing cel

cylinders 1 and 4 had bad ignition coils. fixed in one day. that was the recall item from a couple months ago. No damage from driving 30 miles (60mph mostly in 4th gear to keep revs betrween 3 and 4 grand) dealer said it would probably only damage the catalytic coonverter. I was treated really well at Zumbach in NYC. Lots of calls to me and car cleaned when I picked it up. (nothing stolen from car -- that has happened to me more than once at the dealer (when I had a Saab) Interestingly I drove my bro's G500 today -- God what a beast. People do get out of your way and the thing is solid, but when I got back into the ar it was like I slipped on a perfectly fitting glove. I just felt right. Anyway I'm whole again. Thanks for all your ideas yesterday. You guys know your stuff.

Default My dealer is unaware of any allroad coil padk recall, and they are usually on top of this stuff...

Had my car in for other warranty and service work last week and they ran my VIN. Told me my '02 had no coil pack recall.

Could be that the only bad coils came from a vendor who didn't supply for '02 model allroads.

As an aside, my '00 V8 Explorer just had a coil pack fail at 37k miles, and NOT covered under any campaign.
