Purchased '02 ar in August'06 @47k. Paid 20G plus $2300 for B to B to 100k warranty. Was beginning to think it was money wasted as the ar has been trouble free. But... @70k it is leaking windshield washer juice. Took it to Maplewood Audi for treatment. It also smelled of burning oil. The warranty covered the headlight washer, cam seals, valve cover gaskets, a fan blower motor, new transmission gasket & fluid, 2900 bucks. They would have bought new CV boots too but they are only cracked, not open yet. The warranty company is called Zurich (www.zurich.com). Free loaner car & a clean interior & exterior on mine when returned. It's all good.

for $3k. 60mo/50k. I'll have both Audi CPO and INDS until 03/2008. I guess I'll be keeping my allroad for another 5 years.

I hope I did not sell the you AR one you got paid on, or AR's are next for the $500 surcharge. ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Seriously, though, that's part of the reason I found INDS. Much bigger outfit, less inclined to axe a specific make/model, direct pay to shop, much better plans, etc.
But GL paid out big-time on my S8, so I'm with you bud.
I offered my GP "services" on the D3 forum, and it turned into a pissing match when a couple of guys got all offended at my (innocent, I thought) post.

I bought a 4 year/60,000 mile extended warranty through the dealer from Ultimate Warranty Corporation for $2300 for our allroad when we bought it two years ago. I have been trying to sell it, and had someone agree to buy it. I called to transfer the warranty and found out that the SC Department of Insurance put Ultimate Warranty (or more precisely the insurance company they set up) in receivership about a month ago. So they no longer allow transfers, and anyone will be lucky to get any money from them for claims or cancellations. Apparently they were supposed to keep $48 million in reserve and they only have $15k... Fortunately they paid for our $5500 turbos a year and a half ago, so we got our money's worth, but if any else out there has Ultimate Warranty I would be trying to get what money back you can!

Fortunately my dealer paid for another warranty and I was covered. I heard some of the other folks horror stories...and it all comes back around to having a great dealer (if you bought it from one).
