Gas mileage? Thinking of going from 4.2 A6 to a 2.7T Allroad. Is difference in mileage worthwhile?

Re: No, 2.7T only gets like 1-2 mpg better
I have enough mileage on my 2005 AR 4.2 now to have an idea of what it can do. A gentle trip near the 55 mph mark yields 23 mpg whilst a fun drive will yield 20 (at 75 mph on cruise) or lower if not on the highway. I have yet to average my daily drive to and from work. I'm estimating I will be 18 mpg as I'm 60/40 hwy/city.
