Gen I vs Gen II arnott air springs
I am curious to the benefit of the Gen II spring over the Gen I. I am satisfied with the stock suspension of this car. I'm not trying to throw a 4000 lb wagon around hairpins, but do appreciate performance. Is there any reliability gained by the metal sleeve over the airbag on the Gen II? If you have the front Gen II and the rear stock does this negate the performance gains? I am going to have to replace airbags soon seeing as my front passenger droops to level one overnight when it's bitter cold and I don't want my compressor burning out.

Does anyone actually have a sleeve? I thought they were to be shipped when available.
Why replace both fronts, if you can isolate the leak, replace it with Gen.1.
When my front air spring went at 70K only one side dropped.
Now at 105K I have found my front end on both stops on occasion. The up-down buttons would not function on another day. It is likely a valve problem or just a damp connection issue. As it is infrequent I will wait on repair.

That's another idea. I guess I'm just waiting for someone to sell me on a pair or Gen IIs. Would havinging two different spring rates up front effect anything? I guess in theory as any damper ages independently the spring rates will vary. Since the difference per air spring is only 100 bucks it might be worth getting the Gen IIs. They appear to be of a higher quality fit and finish. Can anyone weigh in on this?
