Simply fantastic tires in all respects. No complaints or concerns whatsoever.
I was running 36/36 psi and felt every crack in the road (thought they were smooth at first until I drove on some lesser quality roads). The fine print on the tires says to inflate them per the door pillar sticker so I set them at 29/29 for 3 passengers w/light load under 100mph. Now the ride is exceptionally smooth for a Max Perf (grade above Ultra High Perf) tire. Steering is very responsive; quicker and less effort. Looking forward to the rain tomorrow.
For those that want crisper handling about 33/33 should work better without sacrificing too much ride comfort. If you run on the track then you'll certainly need more pressure.
Your preference or door sticker may vary .. as I recall it suggests 42/42 for 5 passengers plus full load over 100mph.

Like you, I've been trading off between comfort and handling with my 225/45-18s. While I enjoy the smoother ride at lower pressure (34f 32r) I notice a little more vibration. Now back up to 36f 34r.
You might want to try a little more pressure up front (unless you're carrying a heavy load in the rear). Running +2 psi in the front reduces understeer.

at higher loads then then backs are about 3-4psi than the fronts.

Someone on this board recommended it to reduce understeer. I tried it while experimenting with different pressures and found it indeed improves handling. I think finding your ideal pressure is more art than science. Sticker is a good starting point. And never exceed the maximum as noted on the tire. Beyond that keep your gauge handy, and have fun!
