Got a bad Nav CD update

Got a bad Nav CD update
I just received my free Nav CD (6/01, map 2) update, put it in my car and now my Nav system locks up whenever I try and put in a destination. I played with it for awhile, but it kept freezing up and re-booting. So, I put back the original map 2 CD I had and it works like normal.
I called the 800 number listed for Blaupunkt in Texas that came with the update and they're Fedex'ing me a new one. I also called my dealer and mentioned this situation, I was told they've gotten as many as 25-30 calls on defective Nav CD's. Apologies for the long FYI...

My dealer in Houston claims that they have not received information regarding NAV CD updates. Did you initiate the process or were you contacted?
