thanks for the ideas guys.
swapping coil packs was my plan of attack at first until I realized that if I narrowed it to that, then I wouldn't be able to do anything about it as I am unsure where to get a coilpack other than at the dealer, and that would have to wait until next week. So, sent the car off to the dealer for them to play with it.
