Default H-sport bending Stabilizer links

Just got my ar back from its 50k service and the tech mentioned that my sway bars are bending the stabilizer links and that they need to be replaced( the links). My wife picked up the car so I did not have a chance to discuss it with the service rep, but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the "stabilizer link" .

I am going to the dealer tomorrow to discuss, but would like any input or advice on it.

Thanks

Default Not Likely.

Maybe pull bushings or split bushings, particularly if you ride at 3 or 4 alot. Front links are almost 1 inch of aluminium. Sounds like BS.

Default Re: Not Likely.

Hardly at 3-4 level. Going there this am to have them point it out to me. Will update later to see what they mean.

Thanks

Default BS. 20,000 miles on mine with no problems.....

Those things are beefy. If they got bent, you've got bigger problems. Most likely pulling the bushing out of the link, or the tech is clueless.

Default Are you sure....

that the tech is talking about the front? I can believe the rears especially if the installer flipped them around as they are cast with a bend and if you turn them around they will have a problem.

The front makes no sense at all, unless the dealer is trying to avoid a warranty claim.
