had major engine work done at 38k, no need to replace ATF fluid at 78k?

I looked at the service interval sheet on allroadfaq and it says to do it at 75k service interval, but maybe thats not for the 4.2l
indy wants 470 for the job (in for other service too)
its a bit high , but from what i've read, fairly invovled
some dont think you should change it at all
I looked that the repair records
One one line it says 8 units on atf fluid, assume that means it was replaced and DEFINITELY doesnt need it at 78k
among other things cyl head replaced engine/tranny seal was replaced
I need to call the indy before he starts this job (car is at shop for other stuff)
I can post a pdf repair record if necessary for ppl to confirm
