Default mine has done that a few times too... Is yours consistent or occasional?

I know it is not a good sign for the tranny to downshift like that... but I kind of like it! wish it always shifted like that.

Mine started doing it when my car was under warranty. I took it to the dealer, of course they could not replicate the problem, told me not to worry about it.

I considered pre-emptively replacing the TqC, but my mechanic talked me out of it.

Default If under warranty and documented w/ dealer

you may have a case with AoA down the road. Doesn't cost you anything so IMO worth doing.

Default Mine did that in third. They were going to replace the trans but had to try the valve body first.

It seemed to help the problem and nothing further happened. They explained that there was no metal in the fluid and nothing was burned. They added that the valve body is another problem area and it has undergone many revisions. Hope that helps.

Default Re: Are you going to finish it off on Sunday?

Are you talking about the Matt Ammon Memorial Driving School in Bremerton?

If so, make that 3 Allroads ;-)

I'll only be there for Saturday though.
