Default Has anyone else noticed this (please read inside)...

When I have the heat on and then adjust the temp way down or even to "LO", it still feels like warm air is being blown in down by my feet. Actually sometimes I don't even have the heat on, it gets warm down by my feet area.

Anyone else have the same thing going on?? Is there a way to stop this?

Default I think you need to check the flux capacitor...

I haven't noticed this. Does the hot air last long? You might need to have the HVAC flap motors adjusted - but this is just a stab in the dark...

Default The car or the person?:) I have noticed that it gets really warm under the

steering wheel sometimes, but not blowing air per se.

Default on my car the heat just starts to blast at max out of nowhere and a few min later it stops

the same thing happens during summer with the air conditioning. Even if I try to lower the setting or turn off the air altogether it still blasts at max...but 2-5 min later works just fine!!!

Default oh yea, it happens quite normally

I have to set my temp (I live in Houston) to at least 67 F (almost any time of year) when I select the "blow air on the feet" position, otherwise it will be warm to hot air. Biggest flaw with the HVAC (I offer no fix). I actually like my feet to be cool, rather than blowing cold air on my face. Although, my wife loves it (women tend to have poor circulation in their feet and hands).

Default Yep, it's a funky HVAC. Mine blows hot air on my feet when it's cold outside

if I set it to LO, it goes cold. If I set it to 64 (my normal temp most winter days) it's pretty warm. Mine no longer blows cool air on top during 'sun sensor weather' either. Some days, it's perfect. in the summer, it blows warm air at my feet at LO or even off. It's only cool using AC on auto. I lost the 'sun sensor' cool on top, warm down under when I told the dealer about the hot foot feature under warranty. Oh well, my Dodge climate control was much better in the cold weather. Germans were never much on heat or air. My Porsche 911s are a particular memory of funky systems.

Default Normally i dont mind it but i think this heat is responsible...

for killing my dvd player. I have a half din dvd player in the pocket meant for the owners manual on the drivers side.

With some peeps not experiencing this proplem maks me think that the hvac motor is not pinching off the heat all the way. Just added it to the list of things to spend money on.
