Has anyone EVER figured out if firmer shocks can be installed, retaining the air springs?

Default Has anyone EVER figured out if firmer shocks can be installed, retaining the air springs?

I know about the coilover option, but what of just the H-sports and some bilstein or other, perhaps adjustable shocks to replace the OEM softies?

Does the car come with firmer shocks in europe or other markets?

Just curious. I tried to contact Continental Teeves a long time ago and never was able to get any answers. Just curious if anyone else has.

In light of the 'no more manual transmissions' stance from Audi, a modified allroad seems to be the only remaining hot ticket in all wheel drive avants, size medium/large anyway...

Anyone?

Default Ex-PzkW is working on something in this realm. He can't talk about it too much here

because he is a business and currently not a paid advertiser. Perhaps contact him directly for an update?

Default Ex-PzkW & RMcQ-

keep me in the loop. I can't wait for shocks with more compression and especially rebound dampening. Stock valving is just too soft. How I long for the good old days when I could pull a set of Bilstein off and send it to them to revalve to customer specs.

Default 2nd. I'd sell the dog for stiffer shocks.

Well almost.

From the look in the picture, his ears perked right up at the thought of being sold

I need adaptors to be made for the struts. Prototype is in the works. Soon.

Default I would be interested too and somewhat local...

I like RMcQ's coilover, but I do like the ability to go up and down with my suspension and I am not sure I want to give that up...especially some of the places I take my allroad lately.
