Has anyone ever seen an allroad re-painted Matte Gray to match the roof and flares?

Do a search for "full body paint" in the allroad section and you'll find examples.

Close, and thanks. It gives a pretty good image without the gloss
I just think that the allroad would look so good in a matte finish... true to it's character and also utilitarian and eye-catching at the same time.
The TT used to come in a dull grey color that was like that...
