Default Has anyone gotten better than 3.9% 48mos financing on allroads?

Audi is offering me 3.9% financing for 48 mos if I decide to buy my 04 ar off lease. The dealer is matching it. I have a feeling both can do better. Assumming perfect credit, has anyone done better in the NY metro area?

Default Doubt you'll do better -- remember this is a used car

Rates are typically alot higher for used cars. I did get 1.9% for 3 years when i bot mine 3yrs ago.

Default if the dealer is matching it...

Chances are the dealer is padding it a touch otherwise why would they want to match it?

Get full disclosure from the dealer: AMount financed, etc. and compare it with AOA...(painless and easy BTDT.)

GO back to the dealer and say, I'll go with your lender if you can get me 3.25 or 3.5, etc.

But by the time you are done, you will save only pennies as 3.9 is damn good.

Default Philly area dealt directly with Audi 1.7% over 5 years. Skip the dealer, you don't

need to finance or even talk to them. Now if you need CPO well.....

Default Have they offered anything else like an extended warranty?...

If you don't mind me asking, what is your buyout? I'm about to call AOA, as my lease ends March 1st, but the buyout is $26000. I'm of the feeling that even with that low of financing, I'm paying too much.

Default 3.9 is really good for a used car. What's the buyout figure? mine was 0% in 04 new, 48mos.

Just curious, what was your lease? I wonder which route actually costs more looking back. I'm happy to actually own the ride, but I'm paying on it 'forever.'

Default Re: Have they offered anything else like an extended warranty?...

AOA is offering a "Audi Premium Care" 48/48K warranty at no charge, and a $600 gift card. The buy back ($25K) is not negotiable. The dealer says this is NOT an Audi backed warranty they are offering and they will not accept it at the service dept. The dealer is offering a lower sales price by $2K, CPO warranty (2yr). The price difference is $2500 over 4 yrs in the dealers favor. Weather the AOA warranty is worth the difference is a roll of the dice. I'll probably go with the lower sales price as I don't want to be top heavy on the deal. It's terrible how AOA is obviously competing against their own dealers on these used cars.
