Has anyone with NON-HP2 (4pad) calipers tried finding aftermarket replacement brake pads?

Has anyone with NON-HP2 (4pad) calipers tried finding aftermarket replacement brake pads?
I have this feeling that all the brake pads I can easily find are meant for the old 4-pad HP2 calipers, and not for the new (downgraded?) 2-pad calipers...

I will try to find the name............
I know before I got the stoptechs I looked into upgrading the stock pads and there was limited selection that was also expensive. I'll try to remember to call the shop tomorrow and ask which pad it was.......

'03... the audiworld model guide lists a 2-pad caliper... :(
I don't really care so much about the caliper, but would definately like fade resistant pads before a track day in a couple of weeks.
