what I experienced from my GSD3s. I had them on my Benz; they could get a bit loose in the rain but otherwise decent overall.

Default My 04 had them on it when I bought it 2 months ago.

I still have them on as they were almost new and I didn't want to put winters on this year. Even in an Ontario winter they're not bad in a straight line, but certainly not as good as dedicated winters in the snow. They do give a smooth and quiet ride however.

I'm debating between the MXV4s and Goodyear ResponseEdge.

Default I personally think they're horrible wrt any form of performance. I'd never put them on by choice.

They are somewhat quiet all season luxury car tires, commonly found on MB's and other vehicles where the car is used a luxury appliance, but not driven by someone who particularly enjoys driving high performance vehicles.

There are much better tires for the money IMO.

Look at all the reviews for tires on www.tirerack.com in your size, that's the best place to compare...

Default They were on my '02 when purchased...

After I put another 2000 miles into them they started "the dreaded 55mph wobble". The dealer offered to replace with OE Pirelli's to fix the wobble or they were free. I have not looked back since. Go to Discount Tire's website to view all the feedback and compare. The best tire I've had is a Toyo. My Continentals did not last and some bulged at the sidewall from heat build up. The Toyo Z rated tires offered excellent ride quality through out the life of the tire and excellent, consistent wear characteristics.

2nd. I've driven them and this is a pretty accurate description.

Default What Toyo did you run?

Local shop suggested the Proxes S/T to me lately. Don't know much about them.

Default I'm happy with the Yoko AVID H4S. Probably not as soft as the MXV4, though.

But probably better wet/dry performance. 60K warranty.

Default 4th

I had them on a previous car, a SAAB 9-5 wagon. Quiet in normal driving, but not good traction in the wet and scary in the snow. Afterward they came on a new Passat I bought and I proptly changed them right away. If they came on a car, I might or might not leave them on, but I wouldn't pay money for them.
