Default MXV4

My AR came with these tires, they are aweful. I have just replaced them with Toyo Proxes 4 which I like alot. Much nicer, better performance, do your self a favor and step up to some real HP tires.

While your at it , get the H-sports, you will not regret it.

Default Anybody have mileage experience on the Toyo Proxes 4 or S/T?

I've heard both recommended, but its not clear what kind of mileage folks have gotten vs say a Falken Ziex which seems to be the "low cost" tire of choice around here and still provides pretty good mileage, at least for Paulroad.

Have them on the Passat, decent tire but expensive. Took the Passat (4-motion) out yesterday in 10" of unplowed snow and got around fine. The OE set were replaced due to belt seperation. Had a new MXV4 for a spare so we only had to buy 3. Otherwise would have changed to something else for the money.

Default I've got a set with less than 1000 miles if you're interested in used.

Was going to sell them locally this spring, but if an AWer really wants them, lets make a deal. Personally I think they make the ar ride like a Lincoln, but if that's what you're into, go for it. Email me if you're interested, we can try to figure something out.

Default Meh...Had them on the first MBZ I owned...no likey

soft ride, safe predictable but low limit handling, a very good average tire. My Falken Ziex's are cheaper and way better.
