Have you seen this video Allroad vs. xc70 vs rx300 vs x5
This might be old news for you but if not ...
This is interesting German test (video) where they drive cars up in skiing slope. Winner is who can go farthest. All cars stop on the way exept Allroad keeps going

Video Playback Information
To get this video to playback I needed to save it to my desktop, open it with Real Player, accept a download of DivX movies and then it played successfully.
GREAT video! If you can't get it to run, the end is with the AR at the top of the hill and none of the others made it much past 1/2 or 3/4!!!

Great video!! quattro rules!!
This reminds me of the old ski-slope TV commercial showing quattro's superiority.
Thanks for posting this. It makes me feel a lot better despite my intermittent, ridiculous tranny CEL that keeps coming on... at a little over 50k miles!!
This video, along with stories of quattro owners towing SUVs out of ditches is why folks that buy quattro stick with quattro!!
Of course, I would guess that a T-Reg or Cayenne would have done just as well. Wouldn't that be an interesting site... an allroad, T-Reg and Cayenne all storming up that hill. I wonder who would win... (probably the vehicle with the most experienced driver).
