Help with Blitzafe aux input adapter
I purchased the Blitzafe aux-in adapter for the 2002 Audi Symphony-2 radio. Once installed, how do I switch between the factory in-dash CD changer and the aux input signal? Also, how do you remove the radio ? The instructions from Blitzafe really suck.

Re: Help with Blitzafe aux input adapter
If you have the new version of the adapter (black box w/ blitzsafe sticker) - it may work depending on the statement below.
From the product description:
"Requires a free cd changer port. If you have a CD changer connected or an in dash cd changer from the factory which uses the CD changer port, this adapter will not work."
You will need "radio removal keys" to pull the radio out --
and make sure you have the radio code to deactivate the anti-theft protection if you kill power to the radio.
If your CD changer port is free - you're good!
I just installed the same adapter in my 2001 allroad -- all worked fine except that my steering wheel controls and the radio status screen between speedo and tach was rendered unoperational.
I'm working with Blitzsafe to help them fix it....

Got answer from Blitzsafe
On the 2002 radio you hit the CD button twice to select the aux input, which used to be the input for the 2nd cd source (changer in rear). It's funny thst this is not listed in any of the Audi manuals or the Blitzsafe documentation. As far as the readio removal goes, you need a total of (4) removal tools to get the radio out. Autotoys telly you to buy the tools, but they are packaged in pairs. I now have (2) and need and additional (2) to get the radio out.

Re: Got answer from Blitzsafe
The guy at Autotoys.com said you may be able to do it with only two of them -- i have all four keys and have not tried to extricate the radio with two keys at a time...
