HELP!!! Coolant Temp sensor...
Ok, I've STFA, I've read the tech article, but I can not find the Coolant temp sensor!!! ARGH! Does anyone have a photo of the sensor on a 2.7t? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Don't ask me to find it, but I found pictures and procedures on AW 2-3 yrs ago. Easy.
One trick, be sure your system is sealed (tank cap closed) when removing this sensor or the fluid flows out (air displacement). I learned this obvious fact the hard way. Get the clip, as Ex says.

Just did this today. PSA!!! get a spare, throw in car.
My car threw codes yesterday for the G62, then didn't start today-grrr. and when I removed it , I see why - sensor cooked/dead.
Anyway, these fail frequently enough to warrant keeping a spare in the vehicle. At least, in my case, my spare sensor allowed me to drive today (sunday)
