Default HELP! No air delievery to air spring!!

Just changed my driver's front air spring, started the car up to fill it, and the compressor doesn't activate at all to fill the new bag. What the $@#! I took the air line to the spring out and I don't get feel any air coming through the line. I haven't let the weight of the car completely off the jack yet... Any suggestions?

Default the car doesn't "think" it needs air ...

the sensor works by the car's level not the volume.

The compressor also has to full the storage tank, not the air spring.

Are you still in jack mode?

If so, that's the design.. not to turn on until you take it out of Jack mode.

No, I took it out of jack mode after I started the car. I don't hear the compressor activating at all though, nor is there air being delivered through the line. Should I be at least feeling air being delivered? I did unhook the (-) lead to the battery before starting the project??

You need to lower down the jack slowly until the ride height is low enough.

I just cleared the fault code and the compressor filled the reserve tank, and wouldn't you know it it inflated the bag! Yes! No more leaking air bag (at least for now...) Two more questions though for the forum: 1) if I replaced the upper control arms do I need a front end alignment? 2) I was told I should squirt some compressor oil in the intake line of the suspension compressor? Apparently it lubricates the pump? Any thoughts out there?
Thanks again guys, I love this allroad! Technology has always fascinated me and this car does not disappoint!

Default air tool oil into the air intake of the compressor is good..

its accessed behind the fender liner of the driver's side rear wheel.

for future reference there is a "fill mode" accessed via vag-com for refilling the system
