Default Help w/ Catalytic Converters (Pt III)

I want to just relocate both O2 sensors aft of the main cats. Has anyone done this and know if the O2 sensor wires will reach on both sides? Is there a way to free up some slack (e.g. cut a zip tie somewhere?). The indy mechanic says it cannot be done, the wire is too short and splicing will mess up the O2 sensor signal to the ECU. How are the O2 sensors relocated for aftermarket DP's?

In my setup the O2 sensors are not relocated, they've been a part of the Downpipes, had to drill and weld for the fitting of the Sensors.

Default According to a conversation I had with Piggy a while back

...the wires should be long enough. Even if there wasn't you should be able to splice into them without issue, people do it all the time to save a few bucks (i.e. you can get the same Bosch 02 sensor without the factory connctor for a fraction of the price of the OEM one).

Regards,
Gavin
