who happens to have over 30 years of VAG experience and he said there is no way he can justify the price premium ($12 VS. $3) of a factory oil filter for people that change their oil regularly.

A nearby dealer carries both Audi & VW. The filter number is exactly the same but the "VW" filter costs less.

you wouldn't happen to have any wheelsets, cassettes, skewers or other bike parts you'd want to let go cheap would ya? I'm looking to turn my MTB into a commuter bike.
