New market (reason) to bring back the allroad...Police cruiser extraordinaire:) Go after bad guys
anywhere any speed any time...scary though if he had had a gun...take care as we don't have bullet proof glass.
I have called in my share of drunk/disabled drivers but never actually gone after one...good work.

Sumbitch!! Not the wisest move, but I've done the same in the past...
...but WITHOUT permission from a 911 dispatch and a Trooper. :P I can imagine the liability on 911 if there had been a wreck. :/
I've been hit-and-run'd 3 times...two times I got plate numbers and description of driver, then backed off and filed a report. Once I got nothing but a sore backside...of my car. :P
Oh, and glad it's just the mirror.

Wow....
Glad you weren't hurt in the hit and run and luckily the guy wasn't a little bit more crazy to the point that he would have actually tried to kill you.
Pretty impressive that you kept the pursuit and the cops weren't able to. Keep us posted.
