holy sh*t, Bilstein strut broke and failed Arnott air spring
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I was on a very bumpy road (Rt 242 in Jay, VT) and hit a particularly nasty set of frost heaves when BAM. It seems maybe the airbag had failed. I had the car towed home and when I got the front wheel off, this is what I found. See attached images.

My mechanic who put them in just got off the phone with Arnott. Arnott is replacing both strut and airbag under their warranty. Should have parts by Thursday and hoping to install them myself on Thu night. Bringin' her back from the dead, yet again.
