Just purchased this allroad last week, had this horrible hair of dog stink out back. Detailed the interior and still the smell lingers. Any ideas out there?

and if that doesnt work/you want to have an awesome smelling car, try the "squash" air freshener. i can't even describe the smell, its just awesome. I know squash shouldnt smell good, but it smells glorious. It's kind of "fruity" but not a bad fruity.
Which reminds me, I need to get a refill.<ul><li><a href="http://www.amazon.com/Eikosha-Air-Spencer-CS-X3-Freshener/dp/B00150T13G/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1 215402787&sr=8-2">air spencer squash</a></li></ul>

that will eat away most pet odors. If you are sure that it is the carpet. You may have something growing in your HVAC stinking things up as well.

I don't want to insult your detailing efforts, but the old dog hair smell usually subsides when the hair is out, check in the spare tire well, fold down the rear seats and check the vents where it may still be in there.

Good for taking out whiz, hurl and other canine excretion.
Have used it for years in the house on a old rug, but no need yet in the Uberwagon, so test first.
Also, use Arm and Hammer Pet Powder (found in grocery stores) to get up any loose hair/ nastyiness. The wheelwell covers are the worst usually because they are the hardest to vaccuum.
Take Care,
Nate
