Hi Guys,I need to replace my brake light switch. I have an Audi Allroad 2001 2.5tdi Auto. The trim below the wheel needs to come off, does anyone know how to remove this without breaking it?
Many thanks!

To remove the knee bolster below the steering wheel, lower the steering wheel, pull off the plastic trim below the instrument cluster and that exposes two screws (8mm heads, I think). Take off the end of the dash and you'll find a third such screw. There are two more closer to the bottom. As you lower the bolster from the top (be aware the screw holes by the steering wheel have clips), you expose the wiring for the footwell lamp and the test connector. The lamp wires just pull off, but you need to pinch together the levers on the test connector to free it. Bolster then lowers and can be pulled out of the bottom retainer clips.
