How do you gentlemen like your Nav. system?

I use it in the S4 all the time. Great for finding those hide-aways in Cambridge etc.
Just used it today to track down a 993TT in Natick. What a sweet car...
So what did you end up getting Doc?

I am just waiting for two dealers' price war to end.....
then I will buy from the one who is willing to take the lowest profit (over invoice), in addition I still have $ 1000 audi loyalty rebate;
I think I will do fine.....

I did the same thing last year between Clair and Ira...
Since I bought the S4 from Clair, they were more aggressive.
Gott'sa tell you, we originally were going to get the S6 - the wife hated all the go fast parts - and I didn't even consider an allroad. But over a year later (especially with our pothole strune roads) I love the ar.
If I was forced into one vehicle it be an allroad.
DMD is dental MD? Do you know Norm Hammer in Boston?
Best of luck...

Thank you for reminding me of Clair.....
I will give them a call tommorrow.
I know Norm very well, he was one of my instructors in the Prostho. (dental) program at Tufts.
Small world....

Paolo

The Audi Nav system works great, and we use it all the time...
A map screen would be very nice for those times when you just want to see what roads are around you, but even if I had the choice, I think I might prefer to keep the 6-disc indash changer.
As far as actually getting you to your location, Audi's system works very well.

I know this sounds dumb, but...
File this under stupid worries following 9/11...I got the Nav system because after 9/11, my family (probably other neurotic people did this too) has "an exit plan" which involves everyone meeting at a remote location which we all have directions to -- about 300 mile outside of NYC where we all live. Am I nuts to think that the Nav system would work after some apocalyptic terrorist attack? Did it work on 9/11? I do remember my cell phone system being down, and I think i remember someone telling me the military took over satellite usage. Still having the Nav system makes me feel a bit better -- cause I know when push comes to shove I won't be able to find those directions. Sigh.
