Re: How many allroad owners own/have owned another Audi?
1984 5000, manual transmission. Got married, had kids, wife wanted a minivan, no more 5000.
1984 Coupe GT, grey market car, didn't know what I had until it was gone. (Purchased as a nearly new bank repo.) Guards red with oversize BBS lace wheels, I managed to get three speeding tickets for 5 MPH over the speed limit. It still looked and ran like new at 175k when I lost it to a guy in an Acura doing his taxes on the freeway.
1987 Coupe GT, very disappointing performance compared to the 84, was more of a boulevard car.
92 100CS, quite possibly the most reliable car I'll ever own. Still looks great inside and out and runs well at 255,000 miles. Repairs have been infrequent, great car.
Just bought a used allroad which is in transit right now. This will be my first Audi with an automatic. It will get the full check over at the local dealer when it arrives; after reading these forums I have to say I'm a little worried!
PS: Are all allroad owners as sharp as you guys?
