How much does the rear sway bar mod help? dramatic? or moderate improvement?

Does anyone in the Bay Area have an AR with the rear sway bar mod and would be willing to take me for a spin or better yet, let me take it for a spin?

Hard to say it was dramatic or moderate since that is so subjective. If you can't find anyone in your area with the allraod done, try driving an A6 sedan with the sport package. The allroad feels very similar.

I noticed the difference right away, and so did my wife. The car stays flatter through turns, but even better, it is also more neutral, e.g. the understeer/oversteer shifted away from understeer and more towards neutrality. What this means is that, when you are hard in a turn, the car feels like it is four wheel drifting rather than front end ploughing. It's a very nice sensation compared with stock.

Do you think it would appreciatively hinder the off-road capablities of the a/r? I've been thinking about doing this mod but need some answers for my wife. (It's "her" car.)
