I have mentioned this constant humming noise to dealer 3 times with no fix. All 3 times they have looked at the compressor and said everything is o.k. I am convinced now that the noise is not coming from the compressor but from the pass rear side. Could this be the fuel pump? The noise goes away when I come to a stop and comes back when I take off again. Is this normal? I'm trying to get this resolved before my factory warranty expires in May.

most noises are very quiet.

I can only hear with radio turned off and windows up. The humming noise appears when I accelerate from stop and gradually disappears when crusing or when I come to a stop.

fuel pump would make noise all the time, and is not audible in my allroad, just compressor

where the noise is coming from, it may not necessary be the fuel pump in the first place.

Tires? Wheel bearing? Any changes to the car recently?
