HVAC blower is squeaking, how tough to access?

Blower lube was the magic search phrase....usually is i guess.

I followed that tech article, wasn't difficult at all.
I left the fan attached to the motor shaft and just sprayed cleaner and wiped down what I could reach, then sprayed a dry graphite lube. Haven't heard from it since, its been about a year a half now.

If you want a quick fix, you can just drop the glove box, pop the little center cap out of
the back (facing you) of the fan housing, and spray in some lube while running the fan on high. I've done this a couple times, after having done the full disassembly and cleaning about three years ago, and it seems to keep the fan happy.

Was it squeaking at any speed or only on the lowest setting?
Mine does a squeak/chirp only at the lowest setting, kind of like a cricket. The funny thing is it does it only with the A/C on. I wonder if it is the same so I can lube it.
