I Can Choose Between a New 2001 and a New 2002 allroad. Which One is Better?

I can get my hands on a new 2001 allroad (with only 72 miles on it) or a new 2002 for several thousand dollars more. Is one year allroad better than another? I see that they replaced the 2001 suspension with a different one.
P.S. The equipment is similar (leather, Xenon, Bose, cold-weather package, etc.)
Thanks, Jimi

also the 2002 has a "sport" mode for the tiptronic that I wish I had.
The 2001 has no amber reflectors in the taillight, important for geeks like me.
The 2001 should be many thousands under MSRP for it to be worth it, plus make sure that you're getting the same finance rate for either car, should be since the 2001 is "new" and never been titled.
If you're buying and planning on keeping for a LONG time (over 7 years) then the 2001 should be a good deal, but if you plan on selling within a few years, the 2002 would probably be better...
I don't know, I'm just rambling.

...with either. Being they're essentially the same vehicle functionality-wise (w/ the suspension exception), it depends whether you want to save some money and take an "older" car home. If not, go 2002. Bottom line: Define your requirements clearly!
By the way, excellent forum name...though you're missing Buddy in there! 8-)

off the 2001, don't get a 2001. The '01 is already almost 1 1/2 years old and the money you lose immediately on resale value is probably more than the "savings" the dealer is sooo generously offering you. An '01 is a used car whether new or not...the person who buys it from you will only care that it is one more year older than the '02 you could've bought.
The differences betweeen the '01 and '02 could be significant also...besides cash...6 disc in-dash CD changer...sport mode transmission...different suspension control...etc...
Either car is excellent...just make the right deal for the car you want most

that caused some of us hesitation problems. Get the '01 updated under warranty and voila, no more "turbo" lag.
