Trim off, pull flasher/blinker device w/ needlenose pliers, unplug, reverse. Search
here or C5 A6 for detailed discussion and pictures (including trim clip locations), but once you have new part it's pretty self evident. Don't worry if you break a trim clip or two, the trim stays on anyway and the dealer techs break plenty. Use putty knife, tiny screwdriver wrapped in cloth or other thin, flat object for clip release.
