Hey guys,
With the help from BillN, I believe I might know why my parktronic back-up sensors and reverse lights don't work. Bill suggested cleaning the multifunction transmission range switch (F125). I went to the dealership to get my oil changed, and had them look at the problem real quick(without charging me), and they couldn't find the problem nor did they check the switch. I need to know if anyone knows the exact location of the switch on the car. Bill says it's on the transmission side of the car, but he's not sure if it's on the underside, side, or top. He did e-mail a picture of what the switch would look like. Does anyone know where it is and the best way to get to it? I'm hoping I can just set my suspension to it's highest point and maybe park one side of the car on a curb or something. I have an 02 Allroad, auto. Please help me out. Thanks.
Mike

The igniters have a limited lifetime, but that's more like ten years. I still tend to think clockspring, but there is no way to test any of this.
