I looked at various ice^link, ikits, etc. Some need wiring to the back of the head unit, otheres are not compatible with Nav. I have the MMI interface (RNS-E?) Nav unit in my 2005 ar and I dont want to screw around with that. So whats the easiest waay to listen to my Nano? And btw I could never get a card to work. :0(

you can hook up the ipod integration through the CD changer input on the RNS-E unit. I am not sure since I like the SD card option myself.

Yeah -- the SD card never worked in my somewhat cptr-challenged hands. Does he integration you speak of require wiring it thru the back of the head unit? or just an easy plug in?

With Symphony 2 it is plug and play, but you need to put in several plugs in the back of head unit. RNS-E is the same I believe, that is what teddybgame explained to me.
It was more complicated than I thought. I used Audi unit, look at Icelink unit, they seem to be more user friendly.
If you have RNS-E, why not page teddybgame and ask what needs to be done for SD cards???
