Default :-( I really like the sound of option 2, but 4 does sound more reasonable.

I'll keep my ears open for any 2.7's around here.

Default Sorry to hear that! If Mark has any parts from my motor you're welcome to them.

I don't know what he'd have as I told him he could pitch most of it, but he may have my 2.7 heads, crank, rods and pistons. He'd also have the stock turbos, but you really don't want to go backwards...

That's pretty scary to hear. How OLD was the T-belt, time-wise? 25k is pretty new.

Or... double down :-)

IMHO, we have to rely on a fast moving $5.00 piece of rubber which can destroy a complete engine.

bummer. #4 does seem best bet. who was the manufacturer on the T-belt? OEM?
