Hello all,
This issue, just developed in the past few days. I have a 2003 AR, 2.7T
While driving, the front over head light (near the sunroof control) as well as the two front map lights, will come on then off. Its a slow glow, verses a quick flash. No pattern and pretty random. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with turns, acceleration, braking, headlights on or off, climate control settings, etc.
This was during the day, dry road conditions.
No leaks from sunroof or engine bay drains, or windshield.
The lights work as intended otherwise.
The only work I have done lately:
Front upper control arms and air springs replaced.
Volt meter is steady at 13-14 while running. No dip or drop of needle when the lights come on and off while driving.
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have

door microswitch is prolly flaking out on ya
mine does the same thing when it gets wet, then stops after it dries out.
there's some great info on quattroworld regarding replacing the switch and removing the door latch assembly, which i hope to get done in the next few weeks
