Ipod/Blitzsafe - Sound Quality

I am trying to wire the Ipod to use with an '02 allroad. I see that BlitzSafe arapter is the only direct line-in option, but a search turned up a lot of negative opinions on sound quality/volume. Are there people out there actually happy with these, especially in terms of sound quality?
Also, has anyone tried the kit from www.rcainput.com (see link): ?
Would it work in 2002 allroad?<ul><li><a href="http://www.rcainput.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RCAI&Pr oduct_Code=AUD-AUX&Category_Code=audi">http://www.rcainput.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RCAI&Pr oduct_Code=AUD-AUX&

i've had one for awhile -- and yes the volume is a bit low and the bass response is a bit weak, but it's damn better than hearing tape hiss from a cassette adapter and tons better than a FM modulator.
i have a boostaroo that helps Kick the overall response up a bit -- check it out below:<ul><li><a href="http://www.boostaroo.com/">Boostaroo</a></li></ul>
