anyone put a differnt sub in the bose box?

have a wiring schematic of the bose amp?

Default IIRC there are two 4" (guessing from memory) paper subs in a plastic resin box.
I think that some of the A6 guys have replaced these as well as modified the cover over the sub to allow more bass to come through.

Try removing the cover if you are after more bass and see if that helps.
